Why Sustainability matters
At Nestie, sustainability and responsibility are at the forefront of everything we do. From the beginning, we decided that we would only use responsibly sourced timbers from socially and environmentally conscious suppliers. We set out to ensure that our products and our way of working has a positive impact on our environment as well as our customers.
The majority of the furniture that we produce is made from durable hardwoods such as Oak and Ash. Not only are these timbers beautiful and renewable but when looked after, can last a life time.

Our kids don't stay little for long and grow out of their clothes, shoes and just about everything in what seems like weeks.
We believe that hand-me-downs should be celebrated and show a show a mark of lasting quality, good workmanship and an understanding of your products and your craft. This is only made possible when using quality materials in the right way.
Making things properly helps the community, it helps our family and friends and it helps the environment.
Suit your Style
Every piece of timber we use is unique. The Oak and Ash wood that we use for the majority of our products is hand selected by us for its beautiful colours and grain patterns.
Our Ash wood often displays lighter, more neutral tones such as creams and almonds with dramatic grain patterns. Whereas Oak wood has a warmer, more homely feel with light and medium browns and just about every warm shade in between.
